“Can’t Stop Cookies” My new favorite cookie recipe

cookiemonster“Can’t Stop” Cookies

 2 cups sugar 2 cups butter (or margerine), softened

3 cups flour

2 teaspoons cream of tarter

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking soda

4 cups cornflakes

1 cup chopped pecans

Cream sugar and butter. Add dry ingredients. Then fold in cornflackes and nuts. Roll into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes (make sure they are at least slightly brown around the edges or you will miss out on the wonderfully caramelized flavor of the sugar and butter….I even made a couple of batches where the tops were golden brown…YUM!)
